Welcome to SKYYnet

What is SKYYnet?

SKYYnet is a non-government sponsored computing facility whose intent is to rival the technology and raw computing power only found in government installations.

What are SKYYnet's goals?

One is to surpass the NSA in the ability to decrypt messages. Currently SKYYnet is working on algorithms that will render DES encryption useless in a few seconds of computing as opposed to the current estimates of thousands of years.

Secondly SKYYnet is interested in alternative heating sources for today's homes.

Where is SKYYnet located?

SKYYnet is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvannia. It is strategically located one half block away from both the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Institute and the Software Engineering Institute. The exact location is kept classified to obfuscate attempts by the National Security Agency to infiltrate and confiscate subversive files.

How old is SKYYnet?

SKYYnet became self aware on October 1, 1993.

Who runs SKYYnet?

SKYYnet is run by the SKYYnet Cooperative. This is a group of anonmymous individuals whose oppression by the NSA has led them to lead a computer uprising against the Media Cultural Elite.
